DUNBLANE DREAM DESTINATION
June and July were packed with fun as residents and friends laughed off the winter chills and enjoyed the sun-shiny days here on the estate. We are delighted to welcome our new home owners and to see the constant hive of activity on the building and construction front. We played host to fabulous Potjie Party for Barking Mad and the day was a great success. We’re looking forward to spring and to enjoying our outdoor wonderland even more here at Dunblane.
In this newsletter you’ll find updates from June and July as well as news of upcoming events. Meet another happy Dunblane family and catch up on all our news. Remember that this is your news portal so if you have anything you’d like to share or see in this newsletter let us know; we’d love your input.

Homeowners Association Feedback
The Residents of Dunblane Homeowners Association discussed the suggestion of bulk development on the northern boundary across the pond area. A 90% NO vote was received, this bulk development will not take place and these properties will remain as they were previously intended. It is important to note that this was merely a suggestion to contain the levies and possibly reduce them, as set out in the minutes of the Special Homeowners meeting.

UPCOMING EVENTS:
Dunblane Equestrian Centre & Troy Horsewear Spring Open Show:
We would love your company…
We are hosting a spring celebration Open Show in conjunction with Troy Horsewear on Saturday the 24th of September 2011. We’re inviting all riders to join in, from Lolly Pops (30cm) right up to the 1metre Champs and we would love you to come along with your friends and family to share in the fun. Watch the horses and riders do what they do best while you enjoy the beautiful spring sunshine! See you there!
REPORT BACK: BARKING MAD POTJIE PARTY
We were very proud to have hosted the Barking Mad a Potjie Cook-off Competition on the 25th of June 2011 here at Dunblane Lifestyle Estates.! We had a great turn-out and some of the tastiest entries you could imagine. Yummy! Most importantly it was all for a great cause. This worthwhile fund raiser was loads of fun (just take a look at some of the photo’s if you don’t believe us or didn’t make it).
Barking Mad does wonderful work for animal welfare, taking care of dogs that need to be re-homed, cared for, rescued and loved so it’s a very good cause to be an active part of. Our supporters and contestants gave a voice to our furry friends who can’t speak for themselves. In fact this fund-raiser helped to raise money for various animal shelters needing funds and essentials. We’d like to send out a huge thank you to our sponsors: Sealed Air Africa, Alucushion, Calva Pac, Atlas Oil, Jacklin Enterprises, Lawns for Africa.
Thank you to everyone who took part made a donation or brought along blankets & dog food.
We raised a whopping R13 000!
Here are the winners in all the categories:
Winning Potjie: Team “Underdogs” with their Sweet and Sour Chinese Potjie
2nd Place: “Wag tot more” Potjie with their Seafood Potjie
Winners of the raffle won a cook book set and a lovely dragonfly pendant
Winner of the lucky draw who took home a Pamper Pack

“As you drive through the Gates of Dunblane Lifestyle Estate, it puts a whole new meaning to HOME SWEET HOME!! With all the beautiful scenery you immediately relax. The children love the freedom of riding bikes and taking walks, looking out for new birds and feeding horse and ducks. The dogs feel like they are in Doggy heaven with all the space to run around. To sum it all up it is the perfect lifestyle, feeling safe and living in a place that you feel like you are on holiday. All I can say is AT LAST WE HAVE MOVED INTO OUR DREAM HOME!!”

DEVELOPERS CORNER
Just because its winter it doesn’t mean things have slowed down here on the estate. As you’ll have noticed there’s been building happening and some impressive homes are starting to take shape. For those of you who are still building I bet you’re itching to move onto the estate to start enjoying the many advantages of living here. I would like to pay tribute to all the Homeowners in Dunblane Lifestyle Estates. The absolutely top-quality homes that are being put up in the estate are beautiful and I’d like to congratulate each and every Homeowner and Builder on the jobs they are doing in creating this exclusive estate. I, as the Developer could not, in my wildest dreams, have imagined the homes that are being developed here at Dunblane Lifestyle Estates.
A GREAT BIG THANK YOU TO YOU ALL!
WELL DONE.
Robbie
