REPORT BACK: AGM 2011-06-20 The AGM boasted a good showing of residents and home owners. J.D. Hill and Company was re-appointed as auditor for the 2011 financial year. All relevant estate business, building regulations and monthly levies were discussed and agreed upon. The chairman encouraged good relations between neighbours with particular regard to building of communal boundary walls. Some issues were unresolved and a special directors meeting to discuss and, where necessary, finalise the outstanding matters was held on the 5th May 2011 and it was agreed that for the benefit of Home Owners a special General Meeting will be held on 27th June 2011 to enable all the Home Owners to attend and to discuss matters that arose from the previous AGM. An official invite and Agenda will be sent out in due course. The following Directors were nominated and appointed.

EVENT OF THE MONTH: BARKING MAD POTJIE PARTY
We’re proud to be hosting the Barking Mad a Potjie Cook-off Competition on the 25th of June 2011 here at Dunblane Lifestyle Estates. We invite you to join us and be part of this worthwhile fund raiser and to have a jolly good time. Barking Mad does wonderful work for animal welfare, taking care of dogs that need to be re-homed, cared for, rescued and loved so it’s a very good cause. In fact this fund-raiser will help to raise money for various animal shelters needing funds and essentials, so we urge you to come on down and impress us with your prime, priceless, potjie skills.
Bring along your imagination because prizes will be awarded for the funniest team name, the funniest hat with raffles and lucky draws on the menu as well as those delicious potjies (yum).

This month we meet the Liechtis:
We received this lovely letter from Karen Liechti that we’d love to share with you:
“We are so excited to be building our dream home at Dunblane- It is like living on a smallholding, but without the security issues. Tranquillity, incredible bird life, truly magical sunsets and most importantly, space. We can’t wait to move in! We are especially grateful to Robbie Karels – you will find him quite the most charming and accommodating man!”
DEVELOPERS CORNER
We’ve had a busy 2 months with lots of action on the estate. I’m excited to report that 6 new stands have been sold and if you take a look around you’ll see plenty of building activity on the estate. We welcome our new owners and look forward to welcoming them to the Dunblane community. We’ve also got lots of events lined up for you to look forward to like the Barking mad Potjie Party and more.
On a sadder note, the Dunblane team offers our deepest condolences to Bert Vos and family. Bert’s father passed away recently and will be deeply missed. Bert is Alan Hurlblatt’s (of Stand 86) builder and a friendly & familiar face on the estate.
That’s all from me folks; I’ll see you on the green
